Easter is Often associated with letting go of our healthy routines and a long weekend full of indulging on chocolate. However it is important to still support and care for your mind, body & soul during this break.
EASTER = SUGAR. SUGAR. SUGAR OVERLOAD often causing the kids and (maybe you) to end up on a ‘sugar high’ so why not try this super delicious alternative to the standard ‘sugar filled’ easter egg. We promise they are Yummy! And oh so easy to make the kids can even help!
- 8 x Dates Soaked
- 1 Tbs Cacao Nibs
- 1 Tbs Organic Dark Chocolate (we used 55% cacao)
- 1/4 Cup Cacao Powder
- 1/3 Cup Almond Meal
- 1 Tbs Chai Seeds
- 2 Tbs Coconut Oil
*We used an easter egg tray mould which are available in most retail shops but you can simply roll these into Easter egg size balls by hand if you do not have a mould.
Soak dates in boiling water for apporx 2o mins – then drain. Simply then place all ingredients into a food processor and blend until smooth. Firmly place mixture into Easter Egg moulds and allow to set in fridge for approx 1 hour. ENJOY!
